About Boma Yangu Jobs

Connecting Kenyans to decent work in the affordable housing ecosystem

The Boma Yangu Jobs portal is a dedicated employment platform under the Affordable Housing Program. It connects qualified job seekers – drivers, security guards, cleaners, caretakers, and more – with employment opportunities in housing construction, estate management, and facility operations. Our mission is to create decent, sustainable jobs while supporting the delivery of affordable housing across Kenya.

Why Boma Yangu Jobs?

Every affordable housing project generates hundreds of direct and indirect jobs. From site security to vehicle operations, cleaning services to building maintenance, the housing sector offers stable, formal employment. Our platform simplifies the recruitment process: job seekers apply online, pay a small fee (KES 78) to complete their application, and employers gain access to a pool of verified candidates. We ensure transparency, efficiency, and equal opportunity.

Available job categories

Additional roles (electricians, plumbers, carpenters, and general labourers) will be added as the programme expands.

How the job application process works

  1. Browse jobs – Visit the Home page to see current vacancies with open slots.
  2. Apply – Fill in your personal details and select your preferred job.
  3. Pay the application feeKES 78 via STK Push (M‑Pesa prompt).
  4. Confirmation – Once payment is confirmed, your application is submitted to the employer.
  5. Shortlisting & interview – Qualified candidates will be contacted directly.

All applications are stored securely and can be managed by administrators via the admin panel (floating button at bottom‑right).

Economic impact: Jobs & housing

The Affordable Housing Program is not just about building homes – it’s about building livelihoods. For every affordable housing unit constructed, we estimate between 3 and 5 direct jobs are created, and up to 8 indirect jobs in the supply chain. By formalising employment in sectors like security, cleaning, and transport, we contribute to Kenya’s economic growth and the realisation of decent work for all (SDG 8).
